The main reason why I started this blog is because I have so many random thoughts going through my head during the day and few outlets (besides my wonderful husband who is not surprised that I would start a blog). There is so much in my head that I must get out... sort of like a composer that hears a song and must write the notes.
I am a very transparent person so nothing I write should surprise anyone that knows me. And if we must be completely honest, all of us have random thoughts but there is something keeping some of us from sharing them.
Starting a new year automatically triggers something in my brain to ponder the previous year and plan for the next.
Here are the highlights from 2010 - It was all good!!
- Tanner and Tristan accepting Jesus as their Lord and Saviour and being baptized at BNC by Jeff
- My sister-in-law Sharon visiting us and taking the most amazing hike through the woods

- Jeff looking for a job outside of FedEx - praying and waiting for an answer
- Starting Couch to 5K several times
- Fighting for Peace in our family (is that an oxymoron?)
- Watching my daughter's service to the church and others drastically increase
- Many episodes of relational dispute in our new-formed family resulting in... you guessed it... spiritual growth
- Leaving my CC group .... absolutely heartwrenching....but blessed by God
- Watching my husband continue to grow as a husband and father
- Watching my mom grow in her theatrical talent
- Getting an iPhone from my husband
- Both siblings leaving the military
- Hope learning and loving to read

I didn't know you were homeschooling! For some reason I remember running into you at Publix years ago and you were talking about homeschooling and how Hannah really wanted to, but you weren't so sure about it. (: Glad you made the leap! How long have you been doing it? Are you in VA now?
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you started this Stac! I will read it and it will keep me close to your random thoughts while you are in VA. :D It'll be like having you back here, with me sitting on one of the stools in the kitchen, chatting it up. :D
